There
are a few details that have to be taken care of before the
final fit of the front hood. These two shots show the inside
fender braces being readied for primer and paint. New glass
had to be installed around the perimeter because the old was
delaminated. This is structural and will also keep the famous
904 body creaking to a minimum.
We don't
want to be doing anymore glass work after the primer has been
applied. These two glass lay ups finish all the structural
repair on the car.
To obtain
a perfect hood fit, we had to re-adjust one hinge. This has
now been completed.
The deck
lid, the doors, and the hood are ready for the final seam
fit and paint.
