Andy has
been making delron motor mount bushings. We don't use the
old flan blocs for the motor mounts because the rubber is
just too old and soft. We use delron, which will still give
a little and last forever.
The one
mount is cut (old factory trick) because if it is whole, you
have to remove the mount to get the filter housing off. It
is way easier to maintain the oil grenade filter with this
mount being altered.
Andy has
placed a mock transmission in the car to set all linkage lengths
and adjustments. It is way easier before the engine is installed.
I am putting the finishing touches on the engine this weekend
(glass shrouds, spark plug wires, headers) for installation
next week.
