904-090
November 14, 2003
Remember,
090 had the roll bar down bars that were cut loose from the
bottom of the tower, bent upward and re-welded at the top
of the tower (not so good). We cut the bars out and replaced
them with a straight bar. Plus, we welded a backing plate
on the tower before welding the roll bar, which gives more
integrity to the strength of the rear of the chassis.
Mark is
cutting the bent bar out.
Pretty
ugly, eh!
The old
bar is now removed and metal finished. The new bar is ready
for welding.
This is
the base plate and the new bar that we welded on top of the
base plate. If you look close in the picture on the right,
the bar on the left is new and the bent bar remains on the
right side.
The left
bar is tacked and ready for welding.
